Ink Wash | Isley Fujita

My archive was of portraits that inspire me, no matter the sex, race or social background. These are all portraits I plan to use again in upcoming pieces. I enjoyed working at home although it was difficult to keep everything tidy due to the carpet flooring. I felt calm and comfortable when I painted in weird ways or poses, whereas in class I would feel watched or judged. At home, I was able to go about my process my way.

Love your ink portraits! The first two female shots are truly captivating.

You've created amazing contrast of shadows and highlights in all of your portraits that make them all very captivating. The textures created also make them very life-like. Wonderful work!
