Ink Wash | Jake Wylie



















My archive is of random country leaders. I chose this group because I wanted to practice drawing a diverse range of people.

Drawing at home was a bit more challenging for a couple of reasons. First was a lack of decent lighting. Second was because the metal sheet I used doesn't absorb water very well, and it made the ink spread in weird ways. 

Note: These drawings look a little better in person. No matter what lighting I put them in, the pictures always look different.

I like how you let the ink drip freely and incorporated that into your portraits. Great work!
